Reverse osmosis (RO) is an advanced water purification process that uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove contaminants from water. Under pressure, water molecules pass through the membrane's tiny pores, while larger molecules like dissolved salts, bacteria, and other impurities are left behind. This results in highly purified water for drinking and cooking.

Filter replacement frequency depends on your water quality and usage. As a general guideline: sediment and carbon filters should be replaced every 6-12 months, and the RO membrane every 2-3 years.
